Poor Vs Rich

FASTINATING WAYS OF DELIVERING YOU SOMETHING WITHOUT YOU EVEN NOTICING
OUTSTANDING METHODS AND PROCEDDURES THEY TAKE TO ADVERTISE PRODUCTS, AND MAKE PEOPLE WANT TO BUY THEM
OBSERVING YOU AND WHAT YOU LIKE NOT AS A CULTURE BUT AS A MARKET
DISTANCING THEIR SEVLES JUST ENOUGH TO SEE THE KINDS OF THINGS YOU LIKE AND SHOWING YOU HOW YOU NEED THEM IN YOUR LIFE
PEOPLE WATCH T.V A LOT A DAY ARE THE TARGETS MARKETERS GO AFTER. THEY TRY TO SELL THE GIRL NEXT DOOR .THIS MAKES YOU THINK THAT THIS IS HOW YOU SHOULD BE.
ODD WAYS THEY MAKE THINGS UP TO MAKE PERVERTED (THE ACTORS TOO)
REASONING WITH YOU IN PRICES TO MAKE YOU WANT TO BUY THE PRODUCT ONLY WHEN THE PRICES THEY SHOW ARE NOT TRUE
NICE THINGS AND EQUIPMENT BEING SHOWN TO YOU TO SAY THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE A GOOD MEALl
Food Porn is not really look at that much, but as seen in class they are still advertising their products. The actors in the show make you see this “normal way of living”. They also make you think in order to fix a good meal for your family; it has to be prepared with love, care, and with the best equipment. You know ,like I know that we do not have the world’s best stoves or pots and pans in our kitchen, but the people that don’t have this stuff and believe they need these items go out and buy them. This is how they get us to buy things all the time. The funny thing is when we buy them it doesn’t work as good as seen on TV. Honestly I think it’s time to wake and see things for what it is. These marketers are using us to buy all types of not useful items. They talk about all the things we need, but what happen to food shelter and clothes being enough. People all over the world are dying from no food at all, and we are over here trying to find the best salt for a bake potato. Seriously are priorities are f**** up.

MAURY SHOW GEEK TO CHIC MODEL ANDREA PEREZ

this is realted to the last post

Gucci, Fendi, Parda!!

I never was a person to be so into fashion until my late middle school years. I didn't mind wearing dickies or keds or any other not popular brands. I'm not saying that I would wear these brands all the time , but what I am saying I that I didn't mind. Now adays I notice how my choice to look at certain labels before actually purchasung the product. No ma,tter the store I look to see if my jeans are either Levis or American Eagle. They may be corny to some but to me they are good quality of jeans and expensive. To get them I usually have to wait for sells or get lucky enough to find them at the thrift store. My shirts aren't really a big thing are to me. But my jeans and shoes are.My shoes doesn't have to be name brand all the time just cute and comfortable. I guess in middle school I started to want to  be in. I started to wear the things that I saw my friends wearing and people on the streets. When I got to the eleventh I started to realize the change in people personality ,   when they wore certain things of "name brand" ,like me it gave them confidenece. But it gave them a little to much confidence, and I didn't like how they would say things about other because no body was rich. People would do anything for a pair of Parda's( in Philly any ways) . The girls would wear anything with a good name on it , but the thing thats funny is that it is not real. I will rather wear something authentic than the generic brand sold on the street. Once my friend mom had said you don't pay for the clothes you pay for the name, becaue the same things you may see in conway are in rue21.Then I realized it's not what you wear but how you wear it. To be your own person is unique and ironically hard for people to do . People will try to fit in in a heart beat rather than be them sevels, but God made you who you are for a reason . I learn to except myself ,my hair (how thick it is)my skin my religion, that's all apart of me.Check out the geek to chic and see how just a little make up, tight clothes and extra hair can change someone life.

West philadelphia born and raised!!!

630 N Brooklyn St, Philadelphia, PA 19104No picture or text can tell you about me or my neighborhood , because despite the bad things drug dealers, crack heads, abandon and  homes ,we are still a community. If you watch the news on my neighborhood they are more likely to show the bad things but my neighborhood means is more than just that .Church goers every other Saturday have clothes give aways to the public for free. Some times they provide snacks for the little kids and food for the family as well. Churches also give out canned goods to those who need it.The Pal ,a program that mentors kids ,provide many trips basket ball tournaments and other activities. These trips are not things like to the zoo , but more like to Disney during the summer and Six Flags. The Pal keep many kids out of trouble and jail by giving them some thing good to look forward too. Also in my neighborhood there is a dance group formed by boys from the shelter , they dance at different events and raise legal money for them to travel and perform. All of these great things would never be shown in a text or in pictures ,to me the only thing media is worried about is showing and writing Black African Americans as being worthless and set in these gangsta ways. This clip is from a Double Dutch competition held by P.A.Lhttp://youtu.be/i1f8SzHaxtA.This bike shop help kids design there own type of bike for free and will give you a job if you need one. I know because when i was younger I went to it. My neighborhood couldn't;t fit into to a text or picture. My neighbor hood made me who I am by seeing how lived and making me want better , and the only way you can know my neighborhood if your from it.

Americans

I wasn’t surprised at the fact that I had no clue in the latest gossip in the media. I was disappointed that I didn’t know who today’s senator was. I believe that John Dewy philosophy is right; we need to educate ourselves instead of depending on school and the media to do it for us.   People are not dumb just uneducated about all that is going on.  I didn’t know who the senator because I wasn’t educated on it. I do not even know how he/she is elected or anything like that.  Educating yourself on things that affect your everyday lives to me is very important and something I should do more. Questions about a country should easily be answered especially if you live there all your life like I have. You cannot depend of on the schooling you receive to cover these topics because if you could I would know who the senate is. It seems like we depend too much on someone else teaching us subjects and things in general that children many years ago mastered. Subjects such as reading, writing and, math was something learn in and out of school. To me the American society is too lazy to learn for themselves, which make it easier for Lippmann’s philosophy to seem correct. If People spend most of their time watching t.v when do they actually learn, besides the time they spend in schools? Watch this  clip and you’ll question yourself , just like the questions in classhttp://youtu.be/fJuNgBkloFE.
